The NFL community is mourning the loss of Tony Siragusa. The former Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle passed away at 55. Players and coaches have expressed their grief, remembering their beloved former teammate, “Goose.”
Brian Billick was the Ravens' head coach during the latter half of Siragusa's career in Baltimore. Billick remembers Siragusa as a main reason the team won the Super Bowl in 2001.
Ravens reporter Luke Jones tweeted Billick's praise in light of Siragusa's passing.
Brian Billick: "There was no one like Goose – a warrior on the field and a team unifier with a giving, generous heart who helped teammates and the community more than most people know. We would not have won the Super Bowl without him.
