Former Utah Jazz forward/center Boris Diaw has agree to sign with Paris-Levallois of his native France, according to David Cozette of SFR Sport, translated by RealGM.

The 35-year-old had seen his minutes diminished during his stint with the Jazz, being primarily a mentor for young players while helping off the bench in a limited role.

The 6-foot-9 forward had played professionally with Pau-Orthez of the French Ligue before joining the Atlanta Hawks in 2003 to start his NBA career.

Diaw played 14 seasons in the NBA, sporting averages of 8.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists — becoming one of the most diverse international passing big men, which he showed throughout his career, most notably as a member of the San Antonio Spurs, a team for which he played for a little over four seasons.

He is coming off an international run at this year's EuroBasket, losing to Germany in the Round of 16 after going only a disappointing 3-2 during the group stage. Diaw issued an apology to his fans days after the loss.

With a dying big man market in the NBA and new regulations allowing two-way contracts, the league is shifting toward a farm system, which has proved unfavorable for serviceable veterans like Diaw, who at times aren't lucky enough to secure a deal, even for the veteran's minimum.

Diaw averaged 4.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 17.6 minutes per game in his lone season with the Jazz.
