Free agent shooting guard Jodie Meeks has agreed to a two-year, $7 million deal with the Washington Wizards, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

His signing likely means the Wizards won’t bring back sharpshooter Bojan Bogdanovic back into the fold, after getting another deep threat to space the floor.

Meeks is a great fit in a drive-and-kick Washington offense, but presents an injury problem, having been on the shelf for a large part of the last two seasons.

When healthy, the Kentucky standout has proved to be a problem from deep, boasting a 37.6 percent career average from beyond and shooting 40 percent or more in three of his last four seasons in the league.

Washington is also attempting to bring back swingman Otto Porter, after the Sacramento Kings brawn met with his agent, David Falk, earlier today and made a hard push to sign the Georgetown star, despite the Wizards holding the right to match any offer.
