Frank Vogel is just one of many recently fired coaches. He's also the newest of many free agent coaches to have shown at least some interest in the Knicks coaching vacancy.

Despite Phil Jackson supposedly putting the coaching search on hold, Vogel met with him and Steve Mills in Los Angeles for a “clandestine meeting” according to the New York Daily News‘ Frank Isola.

At this point, basically everyone available has been named a possible Knicks candidate. All we know with at least a little certainty is that interim head coach Kurt Rambis is probably staying with the team in some capacity.

Who emerges from the pack to take the helm in New York remains to be seen.
