When you think of the available free agents still on the market in the NBA, Grant Jerrett probably isn't a name that comes to mind. Ray Allen is eyeing his return, but overall, free agency has essentially dried up as we enter the latter portion of the offseason.

But, alas, lower-profile signings are still happening. Jerrett, a second overall pick by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2014 (he was immediately shipped to the Oklahoma City Thunder for cash), has signed with Portland once again, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

As Woj notes, it's only a training camp deal, meaning that Jerrett will have to battle his way onto the roster come October.

In his woefully succinct NBA career, Jerrett has played for OKC and the Utah Jazz in a combined eight games. He was waived by Utah's D-League affiliate last October.

This might be Jerrett's last shot at reaching the NBA. Hopefully, he rises to the occasion once camp tips off.
