Not to be overshadowed by James Harden's 50-point performance, Houston Rockets center Clint Capela had a stellar game of his own.

The Swiss big man recorded 22 points and 21 rebounds while shooting a perfect 9-9 from the field in a double overtime loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

According to the NBA's stats department, Capela's performance is the first perfect 20-20 game since 1999 when Atlanta Hawks center Dikembe Mutombo finished a game with 27 points and 29 rebounds on 11-11 shooting.

In the last year and a half, Capela has become of the best centers in the league. This season, the 25-year-old is averaging 15.1 points and 15.1 rebounds per game, which ranks second in the NBA behind Andre Drummond's 16.9 boards.

Capela has also done an excellent job protecting the rim for the Rockets, averaging two blocks a game while making sure to take high-efficiency shots on his way to shooting 65.7 percent through 16 games.

The Rockets were bested by the Spurs by a score of 135 to 133. San Antonio guard Lonnie Walker IV ended up scoring 19 of his career-high 28 points in the fourth quarter and overtime off the bench. Two other Spurs guards, Bryn Forbes and DeMar Derozan, combined for another 48 points for San Antonio in the win.

Houston now sits at 13-7 on the season and will fall to fifth place in the Western Conference, behind the red hot Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers.

Next on the schedule, Houston will travel to Canada to face the defending champions Toronto Raptors and then return home on Saturday to play the Phoenix Suns.
