Houston Rockets superstar James Harden was warmly received by the home crowd in Phoenix on Sunday. For Houston commentator Matt Bullard, this was some sort of anomaly since Harden pretty much receives all types of hate from spectators. Nevertheless, Bullard was grateful for Phoenix's appreciation for Harden's greatness.

According to him, all the great ones that came before Harden experienced their fair share of criticism during the height of their careers. Though they were doing great things inside the court, not everyone was sold on this. But when it's all said and done, after they hang up their jersey and sneakers for good, fans eventually gave the player his dues.

Bullard, for his part, opts to bask in the greatness right in front of him.

In the Rockets' 139-125 win over the Suns, Harden exploded for 47 points on 15-of-27 shooting from the field, 9-of-19 from the deep, and 8-of-9 from the free-throw line.

These have been the usual statistics for Harden this season. He leads the league with 38.8 points per game. With that amount of points, Harden logically jacks up a considerable number of shot attempts. He's shooting at a decent 44.9 percent clip from the field ad 36.7 percent from deep. However, several spectators seem to only highlight his bad shooting nights and focus on his knack for drawing fouls — most of which are questionable according to them.

But the way the Phoenix basketball fanatics reacted to Harden shows how classy they are. Not all of them are in agreement with Harden's playing style but as real basketball fans, they know that they are witnessing one of the best to ever do it.
