Houston Rockets star Jalen Green wanted to make sure he was as fresh as possible as the rookie intently watched his team in the 2021 NBA Summer League. The second overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft was unfortunately ruled out of the tournament after the 19-year-old strained his right hamstring in their game against the Toronto Raptors.

This obviously didn't stop Green to continue to support his team as the Filipino-American made sure he was close to his team as they continue their Summer League journey without their star rookie. But, Green knows that being this close to intense basketball action comes at a cost.

As he sat on the bench on Sunday's game against the Orlando Magic, Green was seen wiping off the sweat of his teammate who sat beside him. Obviously, Green wasn't letting any of his teammate's sweat ruin his game-day outfit (via Corey Randall):

Green had no choice but to react after the laughable incident. The G League Ignite standout immediately got on Twitter to seemingly mock himself after being caught on camera:

This wasn't Green's best showcase of talents during the Summer League though. Aside from being a natural in wiping off his teammates' sweat, the young star was balling out prior to hurting himself. Green exploded for a monster debut of 23 points in his very first game for the franchise and ended up averaging 24 points while shooting 50% from deep and adding five boards, and 2.5 assists per game.

This has got to get Houston Rockets fans something to get really excited for as the 2021-2022 NBA season fast approaches.
