Jalen Rose says for the James Harden-Russell Westbrook pairing to work on the Houston Rockets, Harden will have to do things on the floor with Westbrook which he didn't do with Chris Paul.

The ESPN analyst and former NBA guard thinks Harden has to have a level of interest when Westbrook is initiating the offense. Rose added that The Beard can't walk up the floor like he did when Paul was running the offense for the Rockets this past season.

Rose goes on to say he believes Harden will be engaged when Westbrook has the ball since he's a former MVP and his brother off the court.

Everyone in the NBA is curious to see how the James Harden-Russell Westbrook duo is going to look. Both stars need the ball in their hands and aren't used to playing off-the-ball.

Harden is a better shooter than Westbrook, while Russ is an elite slasher and finisher at the rim. Some believe the Rockets should play Westbrook at the point guard spot since he collapses the paint every time he drives to the hoop. That will free up Harden for wide-open looks from beyond the arc. Harden can get to the rim at will as well, but Westbrook isn't a reliable shooter from deep.

All eyes are going to be on Harden and Westbrook next season. Rockets fans are praying the two MVPs can co-exist so Houston has a shot to win the NBA championship.
