Despite leading the NBA in scoring, minutes and usage rate, Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden isn’t worried about getting fatigued and not having any energy once the postseason starts.

Entering Monday, Harden is averaging a league-leading 36.3 points per game while playing 37.5 minutes a night. The reigning MVP has a usage percentage of 40.2. Philadelphia 76ers star big man Joel Embiid is second in the NBA in usage percentage at 33.4

James Harden has scored at least 30 points in 26 straight games, but The Beard says his body isn’t suffering from the scoring tear which he is on right now.

“Nah, nah… Why, because I’m scoring the ball more?” James Harden said, via Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN. “I love the game of basketball. I don’t worry about getting drained or getting tired. I am going to play basketball. I don’t worry about everything else. I hoop.

The Rockets enter Monday with a record of 30-22, good for sixth place in the Western Conference. James Harden is averaging a staggering 42.0 points over his last 26 games while shooting 43.7 percent from the field, 36.8 percent from beyond the arc and 89.0 percent from the free-throw line.

A lot of people believe James Harden is going to wear down eventually and be totally gassed when the playoffs start. The star guard clearly doesn’t care what people think.
