The Houston Rockets have been knocked out of the playoffs once again, and James Harden is not happy about it.

However, he is not going to let another disappointing finish stop him from moving forward and getting the team to its ultimate goal.

After losing Game 5 and the semifinal series against the Los Angeles Lakers, Harden opened up to reporters about his frustration and hope for the future.

“It’s very, very frustrating. I’m going to keep chipping away. We’re a piece away. We’re going to keep trying to grow and put the right pieces around me and (Russell Westbrook),” the Rockets star said, per Ben Golliver of the Washington Post.

That piece they need is probably a big man. While the team has great shooters and their “small ball” philosophy has won them games, teams need to be balanced and be able to play in the post in the playoffs to be successful.

Houston certainly has plenty of decisions to make in the offseason, from the current composition of their roster to their coaching. Mike D'Antoni's future with the team is still uncertain after failing to reach a contract extension with the Rockets in their previous discussions.

Nevertheless, it is quite clear that James Harden is still committed to the team and appears to be more determined than ever to make the Rockets the best team in the NBA.

Only time will tell if Harden and Co. will be able to get over the hump, and all eyes will be on them as they try to do so.
