Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert had nothing but compliments for James Harden after a career-high 56 points and 13 assists during a 137-110 obliteration of his team.

The 7-foot-1 Frenchman saw The Beard hit from everywhere, making 19 of his 25 attempts from the field in video-game-like efficiency, as well as a sure-shot 7-of-8 from beyond the arc, and repeated scores from the charity stripe, knocking down 11-of-12 in his 35-minute outing.

“That’s why he’s one of the best players in the world,” said Gobert, according to Alykhan Bijani of ESPN Houston. “I think he got 13 assists too. He also made his teammates better. That’s why he’s one of the best players in the league.”

Harden was at his most efficient in front of the Toyota Center home crowd, dazzling with shot after shot before taking a well-deserved rest with the game already out of hand.

The Jazz have now lost two in a row for the first time this season, despite an even performance from the starting unit — proving too tall of a task to take down an inspired scorer of Harden's caliber on Sunday night.

Funnily enough, Harden's monstrous performance only netted a plus-25 rating, while his teammate Trevor Ariza was a plus-30 with only 14 points, two assists, and two steals.
