If you search Russell Westbrook on Google, you won't recognize the Houston Rockets point guard.
That's because for some reason, Google has oddly replaced Westbrook's photo with someone else.
2020 has been a crazy year, so why not have a random person be Brodie? Maybe the guy is also named Russell Westbrook and has done a terrific job getting his photo recognized along with a famous NBA player.
However, this just goes to show that even a billion-dollar company such as Google can make some weird mistakes sometimes.
Westbrook completed his first season with the Rockets in 2019-20 after a stellar run with the Oklahoma City Thunder where he won the 2017 MVP award and averaged a triple-double three seasons in a row. The explosive guard finished his first campaign with Houston with averages of 27.2 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.0 assists while shooting 47.2 percent from the field, 25.8 percent from beyond the arc and 76.3 percent from the free-throw line.
Houston defeated the Thunder in the first round of the 2020 playoffs in seven games. However, the Rockets couldn't get past the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Semifinals, losing the series in five games despite winning Game 1.
Westbrook wasn't his usual dominant self in the postseason after contracting COVID-19 and suffering a strained right quadriceps. Russ was never able to get into a rhythm at Walt Disney World and his play took a big dip as a result.
The Rockets are currently in the midst of a coaching search after Mike D'Antoni decided not to come back. Hopefully, Google fixes Westbrook's photo before Houston gets a new coach.
