At 32-years-old, Gerald Green of the Houston Rockets still has the hops and athleticism which would allow him to compete and possibly win the NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

As posted by the Rockets, below is a clip of Green lifting off and showing that he still has the jumping ability:

It's been more than a decade since Gerald Green won the Slam Dunk Contest. To recall, he competed against the likes of Dwight Howard, Nate Robinson, and Tyrus Thomas. And not only that, he had to impress a set of judges who were former dunk champions and legends of the game. The judges were:  Michael Jordan, Dominique Wilkins, Julius Erving, Kobe Bryant, and Vince Carter.

Green's dunking ability has made him a fan favorite for every team he has played with. Though he has jumped from team to team his entire career, fans know that when Green is in the building, they can expect an amazing display of athleticism.

Now, Green may have finally found a home with the Rockets. He isn't as explosive as he used to, but he can obviously still sky. While his main role for the Rockets is to nail three-pointers and lock down opposing perimeter players, once in a while, we get a glimpse of a former dunk champion in his element, hanging comfortably in the air.
