In the past week, the Knicks have been rumored as a team that could pursue a star in a trade. Both Russell Westbrook and Gordon Hayward have been listed as possible trade candidates for New York as they hope to lure bigger name players to the Big Apple.
While the Knicks could take a patient approach moving forward, Thibodeau wants to be aggressive this offseason. And if anyone has seen how he's conducted himself over the years, that shouldn't come as a surprise.
During his last stop with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Thibodeau pushed for a blockbuster trade for Jimmy Butler. The trade sent young players like Zach Lavine and Kris Dunn, along with a first-round pick to the Chicago Bulls.
