New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill finished his season on a disappointing note in Week 18, leaving the team's win over the Atlanta Falcons with a foot injury. Unfortunately, Hill will have to undergo two different surgeries to repair it this offseason.

Via ESPN's Mike Triplett:

Not ideal for the Saints signal-caller, but it's getting done early enough that he should be ready to go for training camp later this year. Hill completed 7 of 9 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown before exiting early.

New Orleans used a variety of different QB's this season due to numerous injuries. Jameis Winston was initially the starter but he tore his ACL then Hill also dealt with health problems. Trevor Semien and Ian Book also saw action.

It's unknown what Hill's role will be with the Saints next season. In 12 games in 2021, the quarterback completed 58% of his 134 passing attempts for four touchdowns and five interceptions. He was also a beast on the ground, rushing for 374 yards and another five TD's. Let's hope he can recover well and get back to full strength in time for training camp. The team hasn't set a timetable for his recovery but we know he'll be working hard to get back on the field ASAP.
