There's NBA fans. There's college basketball fans. Sometimes, there's those who enjoy both. For the Seton Hall Pirates, at least apparently, there's scouts who believe the college basketball team is so physical that they resemble an NBA roster.

How do we know this?

Well, I'm glad you asked, Internet friend. Seton Hall head coach Kevin Willard literally said as much.

“We had a ton of NBA scouts come in and every one comes over and looks at me and says this looks like an NBA team,” coach Kevin Willard said. “I think it is one reason why we haven’t practiced long and I have kept practices kind of lighter than in the past because of how big and physical we are.”

Ahead of the 2019-20 college basketball season, it's actually somewhat stunning the Seton Hall Pirates are purposely keeping practices lighter.

The good news? It's apparently due to the fact that the roster is so physical and tough that it would end up being detrimental to their own health to continue to bang each other.

Given the program operates in the forever physical Big East Conference, these are all good signs.
