Thanks to Carlos Dunlap's late-game sack, the Seattle Seahawks came away with the 20-15 victory over the Washington Football Team on Sunday. The game-winning sack marks another late-game defensive stop for Dunlap, a feat he attributed to basketball icon Kobe Bryant.

Per Joe Fann of NBC Sports via Yahoo Sports, Dunlap shared what Mamba Mentality means to him.

“This is what I’m here to do. I’m just happy to be able to deliver,” the Seahawks defensive end said. “It’s that Mamba Mentality – game is on the line, I want to be in to take that shot. You’ve got to have that confidence.”

Washington had a chance to win late in the fourth, trailing 20-15. They were already in the red zone, but Dunlap and L.J. Collier sacked Dwayne Haskins on two consecutive plays to seal the Seahawks victory. It was Dunlap's second game-winning sack this season. In Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals, Dunlap sacked Kyler Murray late in the fourth to snag the 28-21 win.

All in all, Dunlap is grateful for the chance given to him by the Seahawks. To recall, he had a rough fallout with the Cincinnati Bengals before he was traded in October.

“It’s an unbelievable opportunity. The Seahawks saved my season,” Dunlap said postgame. “I’d be preparing to go home for an offseason at this moment. Things turned out in my favor, and the universe wants me to win. We’ve got an opportunity. That’s all I want, an opportunity.”

It has been a wild 2020 for Carlos Dunlap. Fortunately, Kobe  Bryant's Mamba Mentality is helping him push through.
