As confirmed in Genshin Impact’s version 2.3 special program livestream, Arataki Itto arrives in the second half of version 2.3. His release will shake the game’s meta, as the relevance of Geo-centric teams will start to increase. Within Itto’s banner also comes Gorou, the general of the Watatsumi Army, which players have also been anticipating for quite some while. Why You Should Pull for Arataki Itto
Arataki Itto is a 5-star claymore-wielding Geo character, specializing in dealing massive Geo damage when his Elemental Burst is active. He excels with the main DPS playstyle, which has been unheard of in the Geo roster, except for Noelle. Itto’s skill set is surprisingly identical to Noelle’s, who both are claymore users with ATK-boosting skills that scales off of Defense. Itto, however, doesn’t have the problems that Noelle has, like Energy sustain and damage scaling. He also heavily benefits from the other Geo supports, like Gorou and Albedo, which makes the Mono Geo composition more relevant in the current meta.
