When the Philadelphia 76ers season came to an end, it was star guard Ben Simmons who had the overwhelming amount of blame pointed in his direction. The Sixers were booted in round two, way earlier than anyone had expected so someone had to shoulder the blame and it went in the direction of Simmons.

While a lot of it was justified and warranted by the play Simmons displayed for the Sixers in the playoffs, it was still as if 100% of the blame was going towards the former No. 1 overall pick.

Now, entering an offseason with plenty of doubt and wonder as to whether or not the Sixers will keep him around, Simmons seems to be enjoying his time off by hitting up Wimbledon with his new girlfriend, Maya Jama.

One side says good for Simmons. Look at the dude smiling again, didn't see that this postseason.

However, the ride and die Sixers fans will do anything but applaud this. They want Simmons in the gym, not cozying up at a tennis tournament as if he wasn't just a huge part of the disaster that was in the NBA playoffs for Philly.

What was it again Doc Rivers said right after the season ended about Simmons working hard in the offseason to get better at his craft?

ā€œAnd thereā€™s areas that he can fix quickly, in my opinion, and get better, and that will get him to another level. Sometimes you donā€™t know why youā€™re in different places. You know what I mean? But this may be one of them. I look at this as a great challenge, but definitely a doable one.ā€ ā€“ Doc Rivers via NBC Sports Philadelphia

This isn't the scene Sixers fans will want to see but the dude is living it up so far this summer.
