Philadephia 76ers star Jimmy Butler continued to embrace his role as one of the team's primary leaders during their series with the Brooklyn Nets.

The Sixers grabbed a crucial victory at Barclays Center on Thursday night, and they'll now try to get another win in Game 4 on Saturday.

And while Butler has only scored a combined 23 points the previous two games, he's been able to affect the game in other ways.

Here's what he had to say about his mindset during the series, courtesy of Keith Pompey of the Philly Inquirer:

“I realize that the games are different,” he said of his focus during the postseason. “I know what I’m capable of. I mean, I just do what my team needs me to do to win.

“I get a vibe. I know what makes guys click. I know to make guys do what we need them to do. And on top of everything else, I know how to put guys in a position to be successful.”

With Joel Embiid still dealing with a knee injury, the Sixers will need Butler and others to continue to offer consistent production.

Considering how important the next game is in the series, there's no doubt that Brett Brown's team will need to come out and match the Nets' energy early on.

The Sixers will return to Wells Fargo Center for Game 5 on Tuesday.
