Philadelphia Sixers star Jimmy Butler was traded earlier in the week, and now is gracing on a Sports Illustrated cover. Well, technically. The Sixers recreated one of the most famous SI covers ever: Moses Malone.

The team is trying to paint on how Malone came to the Sixers, with Butler arriving to the team. This is a very cool gesture by the team to welcome him, and an awesome cover photo.

Since being traded to the Sixers, Butler and the team are 1-1 since his arrival. They picked up a huge win versus the Utah Jazz.

Butler was stellar in his home debut. He finished with 28 points (12-for-15 from the field, 2-for-3 from three, seven assists, three rebounds and two steals.

The Sixers obviously have high hopes with this move, and that is winning the NBA title, or at least trying to get to the next step in the process.

With the win versus the Jazz, Philly moves to 10-7 on the season and are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They have a lot of time now to get into at least the top three of the East, which is where a lot of people expect the team to end up at.

It will be interesting to see how Butler and his teammates continue to mesh.
