Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid isn't exactly thrilled with his recent performances on the court. We know this because the Sixers big man said as much.

Embiid has struggled to find a rhythm over the past several games, and that trend continued in Wednesday's 113-102 loss to the Toronto Raptors.

The 7-footer went just 5 of 17 from the floor and missed both free throw attempts in finishing with just 10 points. He did add 12 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks, but it wasn't enough to help the Sixers keep their winning streak intact.

And as always, Embiid did not hold back when discussing his lackluster play.

From Kyle Neubeck of PhillyVoice:

Joel Embiid was pretty direct on tonight's performance: “The past few games, I've been so trash.”

The performance against the Raptors followed a couple of rough shooting outings from Embiid.

He shot just 4 of 13 from the field in the 103-95 win against the Memphis Grizzlies last Sunday, and prior to that, he was 5 of 12 from the floor in the 123-98 victory over the Washington Wizards.

Still, he's managed to dominate the glass as usual with numerous double-digit rebounding efforts, so it hasn't been all bad for him.

And even with Embiid not playing up to his standards recently, the Sixers are continuing to find ways to win games.

Philadelphia now sits at 17-9 on the season while trailing the Raptors by four games in the Atlantic Division.

Embiid will try to get back on track when the Sixers visit Detroit to take on the Pistons on Friday, with the return game between the two teams coming in Philadelphia next Monday.
