Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid sure knows how to celebrate after a tough loss.
After the 76ers lost to the Los Angeles on Friday, Embiid met one of the most controversial figures in the NBA and all of pop culture.
Yep, you guessed it: LaVar Ball.

There are a few things that are great about this. Embiid is one for trolling others on social media, but when it comes down to it, he seems like a pretty gracious guy. Maybe the Instagram post would have been different if Philadelphia had won the game, but nonetheless, this moment seems genuinely pretty cool.
Props should also go to the Ball family for agreeing to meet with them be in the first place. After the Lakers lost their first game to the 76ers, Ball could have been a sore loser. But in this case, he decided to meet one of the best players in the NBA.
Again, things may have been different if the outcome wasn't how it turned out. But any time two people who have big voices come together and exhibit mutual respect for one another is a win.
Now, if only Embiid would change one of the locations on his Instagram profile. But hey, it's a Process.
