Believe the hype now, Philadelphia 76ers fans. Here's a first look at new Sixers superstar Jimmy Butler's new locker and jersey:

The City Edition Philly jerseys couldn't look any better with Butler's name and the iconic No. 23. With the trade call to the league office already finalized, Butler was officially introduced as a member of the Sixers on Tuesday morning.

While Butler has yet to play a game for the team, head coach Brett Brown is already sure that the four-time All-Star will mesh well with the Sixers' culture, per Keith Pompey of The Philly Inquirer.

“He replicates, he mirrors the spirit of Philadelphia,” Brown said of Butler, a 6-foot-8 swingman. “He is a fierce competitor, and there is a toughness that he plays with. That's who he is. He wears it on his face.

“It's seen in his game. It's confirmed by multiple all-defensive teams.”

Of course, that fierceness Brown sees in Butler has been on display as of late. The 29-year-old veteran All-Star was criticized for calling out his teammates and creating a world of fiasco for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

But both parties have moved on from that issue already as Butler gets a fresh start in Philly. Butler, who is posting averages of 21.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists this season, will no doubt be the undisputed leader for this young Sixers team.

Philly fans are hoping the hype turns to wins as the Sixers vie for a championship run this year.
