In recent weeks, Philadelphia Sixers star point guard Ben Simmons' name has been constantly flying around in trade rumors. The Portland Trail Blazers, the Golden State Warriors, and the Toronto Raptors are reportedly interested in the disgruntled star.

However, the Blazers and the Raptors might get disappointed after a recent report that says Ben Simmons is not interested in coming to Portland or Toronto, per Jason Dumas of Bleacher Report.

He doesn't want to go to a bad situation,” said Dumas. “He's reading the tea leaves. He sees Toronto, he sees Portland and then, being frank — being the young socialite that he is — he's not looking to go to any of those situations. He's looking to go to the California teams.

The fallout has been evident as Simmons has reportedly cut off any communication from the Sixers' organization. Per Dumas, the youngster has not returned any of Embiid's phone calls and has told the organization that all communication will be through his agent, Rich Paul.

Simmons left the floor at Wells Fargo Center to some chants of “Trade Ben Simmons” from Sixers fans during their shocking playoff exit against the Atlanta Hawks. The damage has been done by the Philly fanbase. How heartbreaking that must have felt for Simmons.

Wherever he winds up, Simmons will surely bring his playmaking skills and elite defending to his new team. If Ben Simmons’ Sixers career is coming to an end, the three-time All-Star averaged 15.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.7 assists in 275 games for them.

One thing is for sure, as a young socialite, Ben Simmons just wants to party!
