Front Roe is just the second new band introduced by Nintendo that will be part of the Splatoon 3 world and lore.

Lore is pretty important in games, and it looks like Nintendo has got some very big plans for the third installment of the Splatoon series. The Big N has been slowly building up the game since its reveal earlier this year.

Among these reveals is the brand-new band called Front Roe. Front Roe is described as a melodious group with a punkish sound of rock. It appears that this new band has become more popular in Splatsville lately, as well. That's no surprise, given how catchy their songs are. Just sample this song by Front Roe: Sea Me Now.

Front Roe is just the second band to be introduced to fans to hype up Splatoon 3. The first one was C-Side, which is a three-person group that had no formal music background but still made it to stardom through sheer talent and ambition.

There will be some very big deviations between the second and third Splatoon games, so it's understandable why Nintendo feels compelled to expand the new game's lore even before it comes out. Still, trickling down information rather than being all noisy about it is also a smart mood, making sure that the hype for the new game is sustained all throughout until Splatoon 3's release.

Splatoon 3 comes out on September 9, 2022, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
