DeMar DeRozan has his moments in the clutch on the basketball court. This time, however, the San Antonio Spurs star delivered, perhaps, when it mattered most. According to TMZ Sports, DeRozan saved the day for his family and kids after he drove an intruder out of his house.
Via TMZ Sports:
Scary moment for NBA star DeMar DeRozan … who chased an intruder out of his L.A.-area home after a terrifying encounter with his kids, TMZ Sports has learned.
Our sources tell us … the man broke into DeRozan's home on Nov. 19 and made his way upstairs into a play area where at least one of DeMar's kids was hanging out.
TMZ reports that the intruder supposedly has his sights set on the house of Kylie Jenner. However, he made a wrong turn to the house of the All-Star shooting guard.
According to TMZ's report, the Spurs star apparently came face-to-face with the pundit, before chasing the man out of his house.
The alleged intruder reportedly raced out of DeRozan's gated community, but still went for second servings. Unfortunately for him, authorities caught him the next time around. He reportedly admitted he targeted the 23-year old Jenner's home.
Fortunately, DeRozan and his family came out unharmed from the dangerous incident. Worse things could have certainly happened, especially if, God forbid, the intruder was armed. As much as DeRozan was able to be the hero on that night, he should do whatever it takes to protect his homes from these intruders and burglars. There's no knowing the kind of danger these people could pose if these incidents happen again.
