The San Antonio Spurs have been without star Kawhi Leonard for all but nine games this season, and they'll continue to be without him on Tuesday. The Spurs official Twitter account announced that Leonard would miss Tuesday night's game against the Washington Wizards.

In the nine games that Leonard has played, he's averaged 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds 2.3 assists 2.0 steals, and 1.0 block per game on 46.8 percent shooting. Since his final game on January 13th, however, the 2014 Finals MVP still doesn't feel ready to return to the Spurs lineup. The fact that Leonard is getting ruled out more than a day in advance suggests that he's not particularly close to a return yet.

The San Antonio Spurs will continue to ride the shoulders of LaMarcus Aldridge, who is averaging 23.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game on 50.8 percent shooting. Obviously, LaMarcus is a talented player, but he's carried the Spurs repeatedly this season and it's likely going to result in a playoff spot barring a collapse over the final seven games of the season.

Aldridge is coming off a Player of the Week award where he averaged 34.8 points and 9.3 rebounds on 59.6% shooting in leading the Spurs to a 3-1 week.
