Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers are six wins away from going a perfect 16-0 in the regular season.

However, Roethlisberger says the Steelers aren't chasing a flawless season record-wise since they have bigger fish to fry once the playoffs start.

“We're not chasing perfection in terms of a perfect 16-0. We're chasing Lombardis. That's the most important thing for us,” Roethlisberger said, per Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

“We got to put more points on the board. I know what the scoreboard says, but there were too many times we punted and didn't do enough. Offensively, we're happy we got the win, but we know we have to be better.”

Roethlisberger, who is putting up MVP numbers this season, wasn't exactly pleased with his performance in Week 11 against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars. The two-time Super Bowl champion went 32-of-46 for 267 yards. He also threw two touchdowns and one interception while leading the Steelers to a 27-3 victory on the road.

Ever since the 2020 season started, Roethlisberger and the Steelers have been playing with a revenge mindset since the team missed the playoffs in 2018 and 2019. Pittsburgh is well on its way to winning the AFC North division and securing a first-round bye in the postseason.

The Steelers will take on Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving. Roethlisberger and Co. defeated the Ravens back in Week 8 by a final score of 28-24.
