The Pittsburgh Steelers have another internal matter on their hands with star wide receiver Antonio Brown's recent actions on social media that have been directed at his importance to the team offensive game plan that has created a bit of stir.

In response to that, Pro Bowl quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has quickly voiced that he is a better player due to having Brown the chance to play with Brown over the last several years, according to Bryan Deardo of 247 Sports.

“I don’t know if he got fired up by that tweet,” Roethlisberger said, “but I’m a much better player with Antonio Brown.”

Roethlisberger has gotten out in front of any potential issues by voicing his appreciation for Brown, who has been his primary target in the passing game throughout much of his career and has emerged into being arguably the best wide receiver in the league. There has been no question about his talent level and production on the field as he has already become the first player in NFL history with five straight years with more than 100 receptions and 1,200 receiving yards. He has been the Steelers' most reliable receiving threat that has helped lift the team to possess one of the most productive offenses.

The connection that Roethlisberger and Brown have had in the passing game has made them one of the best 1-2 punches in the NFL that has seen them link up for a tremendous amount of success. This has made him an invaluable piece to the puzzle that has pushed the franchise to be a potential Super Bowl contender in just about every season that he has been in the league.

More than anything else, the Steelers are simply hoping to push this entire matter behind them so that the focus can shift back to the football field for the Week 3 matchup against the upstart Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
