Steelers’ Maurkice Pouncey’s NSFW reaction to new CBA proposal

Maurkice Pouncey, Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey is known for wearing his heart on his sleeve, and many would probably say he is one of the best leaders in football today.

Well, on Wednesday morning, Pouncey spoke up on behalf of all NFL players regarding the new CBA proposal, and let’s just say that he isn’t very happy about it:

“Man, this s—‘s so f—ing crazy man. I vote no,” Pouncey said in an Instagram video, via Steelers Depot. “F— that s—. Our NFLPA, the dudes at the top, the leaders, man that s— is all f—ing bulls—. F— that, they ain’t looking out for the best of the players. If y’all want my vote, the Pouncey twins vote no.”

So apparently, his twin brother, Mike, feels the same way.

Pouncey also expressed his concern for the young players around the league, saying they can always lean on the veterans if they need any help:

“If any player on any one of our teams, if y’all are hurting for rent money or anything while we’re going through this lockout, call us,” said Pouncey. “We’ve got way more money than what they had back in the day. We ain’t got to worry about that. All the vets on each team, stand the f— up. Stand up and show these guys that we care about them. Man I care about all you young players. I love you guys to death. I ain’t going to let y’all down. Trust and believe.”

While the Steelers’ lineman may have stated his case in a more forthright, profanity-laced way than many other players would, it’s probably safe to say that a lot of players around the NFL feel a similar way.

Hopefully, this has a good ending for everyone involved, as it’s certainly something that will affect both parties.
