The Pittsburgh Steelers have lost two star players this offseason, as they traded wide receiver Antonio Brown to the Oakland Raiders and lost running back Le'Veon Bell via free agency to the New York Jets. When asked about the two stars departing, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that he is disappointed, but added that he understands that this is the nature of the game and that he is excited about what is in store for the future:

“There is, but that’s life and that’s business,” said Tomlin when asked if there is any disappointment about the situation, according to Michael Davis Smith of Pro Football Talk. “We as an organization have moved on. I think they as professionals have moved on. We’re excited about the formulation of our team for ’19. We appreciate the contributions that they gave us when they were part of us, but the reality is they are no longer that, so we’re focused on the guys that we work with.”

In the case of Bell, it's not like Pittsburgh isn't accustomed to playing without him, as the 27-year-old sat out the entire 2018 campaign due to a contract dispute with the organization. Plus, James Conner seems ready to assume Bell's role in the backfield, so the Steelers may not end up missing him all that much.

Brown, on the other hand, is a different story. The 30-year-old had been a member of the Steelers since entering the league in 2010 and had made seven Pro Bowl appearances while earning four First-Team All-Pro selections with the club.
