Najee Harris was once again fed by several touches by the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense in their 23-20 win Monday over the Seattle Seahawks at home, and the rookie did not disappoint — during the game and after.

Harris rushed a total of 24 times and racked up 81 yards. He also figured in the passing game with six catches for 46 receiving yards and a touchdown on seven targets — tied with fellow rookie and tight end Pat Freiermuth for second on the team. Apart from his performance and the win, Harris perhaps will also remember this game for a long time because of a hit Seahawks safety Jamal Adams laid on him at one point during the contest.

The Alabama Crimson Tide product acknowledged Adams’ hit during the postgame interview with NBC and shared his true feelings about it.

Via Spencer Schultz of Steelers Depot:

“I saw him coming, but he got so low. I tried to meet him there. He rang my bell. That’s the stuff I like right there. That’s the football I like.”

In case you missed it, this is the play the Steelers tailback was talking about.

Harris will rest his body a bit during the Steelers’ Week 7 bye after dealing with the physicality of the Seahawks’ defense before getting back at it to prepare for the Cleveland Browns in Week 8.
