Outside linebacker T.J. Watt has been a bright spot in the Pittsburgh Steelers defense as of late, and now, he has reached one historic feat.

Over the first quarter of the Steelers' Week 13 home matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, Watt secured a timely sack against quarterback Lamar Jackson. As it stands, he has now recorded 6.5 career sacks against the Ravens.

Watt currently sits at 13.5 sacks on the year, which ranks only behind Cleveland Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett (14.0) for the most sacks this season.

Overall, the Steelers star has also totaled for four straight seasons with at least 13.0 sacks recorded. He joined longtime Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers pass rusher Reggie White (1985-1988 and 1990-1993) as the only players since 1982 to reach this notable feat.

White accomplished this feat twice in his career, as he tallied for at least 13.0 sacks in eight of his opening nine seasons in the NFL.

The Steelers outside linebacker continues to make a strong case to be the top contender for the 2021 NFL Defensive Player of the Year award. This comes following his second place finish behind Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald for this honor last season.

In the big picture, Watt is also gradually establishing his legacy as one of the more potent pass rushers in Steelers franchise history.
