The newest game in the Final Fantasy series, Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, has opened another playable demo along with a trailer in today's State of Play. The game is expected to release on March 18, 2022.

“It's not a hope or a dream. It's like a hunger. A thirst.”

This playable demo will have the first three stages of the game, up until Western Keep. While the game will be available on numerous consoles and platforms, the demo is only playable on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Players who go through the demo will have their progress carried over to the full game. Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin will have multiplayer features, and these features are also present in the playable demo.

None of this came as a surprise though, as a Twitter user pointed out the demo's availability in the PlayStation Store several hours before it was announced.
