Another former NBA player has decided to take his talents to China, and signed a deal with Qingdao Beach. However, it won’t just be any ordinary deal, as Terrence Jones will reportedly receive one of the biggest contracts in CBA history, according to international basketball reporter David Pick.

The 25-year-old Kentucky product has played five seasons in the NBA since being selected 18th overall in the 2012 draft by the Houston Rockets. He spent his first four years as a professional in Houston before suiting up for the New Orleans Pelicans and Milwaukee Bucks last year. Jones has solid career averages of 10.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game.

He was once one of the most sought-after prospects in college, but has not found his niche in the NBA. Jones also struggled to play his natural game, as he does not have enough consistency from the outside while being considered as a tweener. Still, there’s no doubt that he is a very talented player who only needs to identify how he can be more effective on the court.

Jones’ fans are hoping that his stint in China will give him the confidence he needs to resurrect his career, and once again play in the NBA. If he can consistently produce stellar numbers, he may generate interest once again from teams in the NBA.
