Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is currently listed as the fourth-string quarterback on the depth chart. Watson recently returned to practice, but as the fourth-string QB, he’s doing limited reps.

Thursday, Watson wondered aloud why media still bothers to film him these days at practice since he doesn’t do anything. The Texans quarterback is just asking questions:

Watson requested a trade in the offseason and is also currently embroiled in legal trouble after over 20 massage therapists accused him of sexual assault/misconduct. A group of these women have also gone to the police.

As Watson’s legal troubles play out, there have been some trade rumors pop up again. However, it’s hard to see a team trading for him and making him their starter with all this going on. On the other hand, it’s also hard to see him ever suiting up for the Texans again.

Watson is in a state of limbo as training camp continues. Houston would surely be happy to trade him at this point, though the team doesn’t want to just give him away given his talent level. It’s an ugly situation.

Meanwhile, Tyrod Taylor is currently expected to get the start at quarterback in preseason action.
