Rumors have been swirling around that multi-time WWE Champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will somehow, in some way, will be part of Fortnite. And indeed, the rumors appear to be true, as The Rock himself all but confirms The Rock's Fortnite role.
The Foundation is an important character in the Fortnite universe, but until now, he has yet to make an appearance. Fortnite Chapter 3's starting events would be a great way to introduce him to the game. It also appears that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be the voice of this all-too-important character. A leaked Fortnite Chapter 3 trailer showed off The Foundation, and his voice sounded all too familiar, sounding the alarms of many fans around the globe. With everyone buzzing about The Rock's Fortnite role, he himself then shared a video on Twitter. Disguised as an ad for Zoa Energy Drink, The Rock gets cheeky by putting The Foundation's helmet inside a fridge filled with Zoa. The helmet can be seen and identified clearly by eagle-eyed fans, which served for them as a confirmation that The Rock indeed will be on Fortnite.
This would be the first time that a WWE superstar will be appearing on Fortnite – well, sort of. The Rock won't be appearing as himself, unlike other celebrities who appeared in the game as themselves like Ariana Grande. Instead, he will be giving voice to an important Fortnite character. Nevertheless, we hope that The Rock would feel welcome in the Fortnite community now that he's part of it.
