Russell Westbrook was not the only winner of the Oklahoma City Thunder's road trip to Los Angeles.

The reigning NBA MVP donated the Kia SUV he won for being the 2016 All-Star Game MVP to a family in need.

A United Way spokesperson said the beneficiary is a family with four children, with another one on the way, that recently moved to the community and had their family car broke down.

“Basketball stuff, it comes and goes man,” Westbrook said.

“For me, it's always been about giving back and finding ways and impact the community where you come from and impact the community all across the world.”

Westbrook was born in Long Beach, California and played two seasons with the UCLA in college before being selected by OKC in 2008.

He also went and visited one of his reading rooms to complete his L.A. trip.

It was not the first time that Westbrook donated his All-Star MVP reward. He donated the car he won in 2015 to a single mother of two in Oklahoma City.

Westbrook and the Thunder capped off a productive L.A. road trip defeating both the Lakers 133-96 and the Clippers 127-117.

They will face the Phoenix Suns on Sunday before returning to Chesapeake Energy Arena on Tuesday to host the Portland Trail Blazers.
