The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate basketball at the University of Pittsburgh, was originally selected by the Thunder in the first round (12th pick overall) of the 2013 NBA Draft.

He had a quiet rookie campaign, playing in 81 contests and registering 3.3 points and 4.1 boards a night. The following year, Adams began to make a name for himself, posting 7.7 points and 7.5 rebounds across 25.2 minutes per game.
