The Oklahoma City Thunder kept their foot on the gas on Friday night, as they handily defeated the Detroit Pistons, 123-110. In the third quarter of the contest, Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook did his best Magic Johnson impersonation as he found teammate Steven Adams with a no-look, over-the-head pass on the break.

Adams almost seemed shocked that he was so wide open, but happily obliged, finishing the amazing play with an emphatic one-handed jam. The Oklahoma City big man obviously enjoyed this particular play, as he was seen grinning from ear to ear following Westbrook's fancy passing.

Adams put up another double-double in this one (14 points, 14 rebounds), while Westbrook (19 points, 15 assists), and Paul George (30 points, eight rebounds) were there usual dominant selves against the Pistons.

Jerami Grant (19 points, seven rebounds) and Dennis Schroder (14 points, seven rebounds, 10 assists) also stepped it up on Friday, as it took a total team effort for the Thunder to come away with this important victory.

That's now two straight wins for Oklahoma City, as they continue to battle for positioning in the Western Conference playoffs picture. Currently, the Thunder are sitting on the seventh seed, with just half a game behind the sixth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers, and half a game ahead of the eighth-placed San Antonio Spurs.

It's going to be an exciting finish for all three teams, and the Thunder will want to win at least two out of its three remaining games in order for them to clinch the sixth spot. They are slated to face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, followed by a back-to-back set against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday and the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.
