A fair amount of Los Angeles Lakers fans don't necessarily like Patrick Beverley. The Minnesota Timberwolves guard is quite the character and he's been a bit of a thorn in the side for the purple and gold. Well, as it turns out, Beverley actually dreams of playing alongside the great LeBron James.

The Timberwolves veteran was recently asked about the superstar he most wants to play with, and Beverley responded without any hesitation:

“Bron, easy,” Beverley quipped (h/t NBA on ESPN on Instagram)

Could we actually see Beverley suit up for the Lakers somewhere down the road? It's not as if LeBron is going anywhere so if the Timberwolves guard wants his dream to come true then Beverley will probably have to sign for LA in the coming years.

For what it's worth, Beverley recently signed an extension with the Timberwolves that will keep him in Minnesota until 2023. What happens beyond next season, however, is anybody's guess. It isn't even guaranteed that LeBron will still be with the Lakers by then.

What we can say for sure, though, is despite how he loves to rile up LeBron, Beverley has a ton of respect for the Lakers superstar.
