Lincoln Riley did not have any problems with the USC football program during the Holiday Bowl. A lot of Trojans fans were worried that they would lose to Louisville because Caleb Williams was not playing. That was not at all the case when they suited up and started torching the opponents. It was all thanks to a record-breaking performance by Miller Moss.

What record did he break? Miller Moss just notched the most passing touchdowns in a Holiday Bowl game, per RedditCFB. He had the full green light from Lincoln Riley and did not disappoint. The USC football offensive engine tied the record during halftime against Louisville. Once he was aware of his dominance, he did not look back and ended the game with six touchdowns.

Moss had a dominating performance that was even better than some of Caleb Williams' outings for the season. 23 out of his 33 passing attempts led to completions. This got the USC football squad 372 passing yards which led to an average pace of 8.5 yards per play. He may have recorded one interception but his touch near the end zone more than made up for it.

Moss was singlehandedly giving life to the USC football offense. Jack Plummer could just watch despite his efficient performance where he just missed four out of his 25 passing attempts. The Louisville quarterback may have not thrown a pick but his 141 passing yards were not enough for the opponents to mount a comeback.

There was a different beast out there for the Trojans and he certainly lived up to his Heisman-winning counterpart.
