The USC football program took on the Louisville Cardinals in an action-packed 2023 Holiday Bowl. The Trojans won the matchup 42-28 off the stellar play of sophomore quarterback Miller Moss. Moss' incredible display of touchdowns against the Cardinals has fans on X erupting in excitement.

Miller Moss leads the Trojans past the Louisville football squad with a stunningly impressive performance

Moss finished with 372 passing yards and a whopping six TDs, which is USC's bowl game record, per Bleacher Report. Fans are praising Moss' play with an assortment of amusing social media reactions:

Other fans were straightforward with their compliments to Moss. One X user said, “The Trojans' future is in good hands.” Another boldly claimed that Moss is going to be better than Caleb Williams. That is a striking claim to make after one game, but Moss makes it hard to argue against him.

The sophomore QB only threw one interception alongside his barrage of touchdown passes. Moreover, he was a significant contributor to USC's 443-yard offensive display against Louisville. Moss was not the only one on fire during the matchup. The Trojans defense forced two fumbles and held the Cardinals to 141 passing yards.

One place Louisville had USC beat was on the ground. Isaac Guerendo rushed for 161 yards and three TDs on 23 carries for the Cardinals. In the end, Lousiville could overcome Miller Moss and USC's might.

The Holiday Bowl victory should give USC football fans unbridling optimism for the future. If Moss can continue his momentum into the 2024 season, the Trojans will be a force to be reckoned with in the Big 10.
