Legends never stop observing and breathing the sport. Magic Johnson has still been very active in tracking college basketball long after his stint ended with the Los Angeles Lakers. The legend of the game was closely viewing the USC women's basketball domination over the San Diego Toreros. He was so impressed with Juju Watkins and Co. that flowers had to be given after a 31-point win by the Trojans.

“USC freshman JuJu Watkins is must-see-TV, setting women’s college basketball on fire! With her 4th 30-point game, Watkins broke the freshman record held by Lisa Leslie and Paula McGee for most 30-point games in a season,” Magic Johnson said after getting hyped with the young star's game.

Watkins led the scoring barrage against the Toreros. She notched 30 points and did not want to leave the floor. What did the star do when she was being doubled by San Diego? Make impact plays, of course. On 33 minutes of playing time, the Trojans freshman notched five assists. Despite also being a guard, she crashed the boards incredibly well which got the USC women's basketball squad a whopping eight boards.

A huge challenge is ahead of the USC basketball as they will face the UCLA Bruins down the road. But, they still have a couple of games to prepare for the second-best team in the nation. With Watkins at the helm, they might just steamroll through the rest of the games with an untarnished record. There is a reason why a Lakers legend believes in her and she is continuously showing why.
