Landry Shamet is officially on his way to join Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving with the Brookyln Nets as he's set to head back to the Eastern Conference after a short stint with the Los Angeles Clippers. The Nets are looking like one of the toughest contenders in the upcoming 2020-2021 season with Durant and Irving heading a potentially scary offense. Shamet is taking the news of his move to New York quite positively and is seemed to be in a celebratory mood on draft day.

The 23-yeard old took to Twitter and shared with the whole world how's he's memorializing this huge moment of his young career. Shamet shared a clip of him enjoying what we all assume is a crazy-expensive bottle of wine, paired with a mound of steak with the tune of ‘Empire State of Mind' popping in the background.

Cheers to you, Mr. Shamet.

But, it seems that his former teammate in Patrick Beverley wasn't one to raise a glass for the youngster celebrating the move to Brooklyn. The spitfire Clippers guard replied to Shamet on Twitter to seemingly tell him that all his celebratory steak night might be a bit premature.

Whether Beverley approves of it or not, Shamet is on his way to a Nets team which seems to have just as good a shot if not better at winning a title compared to the Clippers, at least on paper. The Wichita State alum has proven that he can contribute whether he's starting or coming off the bench and his potent shooting ability would be nothing but beneficial to an offense led by Durant and Irving.

After everything that happened with the Clippers, it's probably safe to assume that Shamet's more than happy to make the move from Hollywood to Brooklyn.
