After opening the season by losing their first five games, some of them in heartbreaking fashion, Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons have won two out of their last three games, with the only loss being a one-point defeat at the hands of the Detroit Lions in Week 7.  Now, they look to take home their third win of the season against the Denver Broncos, and quarterback Ryan has given them a strong chance to do so early in the game with this long TD pass to Olamide Zaccheaus.

With 1:24 left in the first quarter on third-and-11 and the Falcons at their own 49-yard line, Matt Ryan unloaded a bomb to second-year wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus for a 51-yard touchdown, giving Atlanta an early 10-3 lead after a field goal by Younghoe Koe earlier in the period gave them an early 3-0 start.

This marks the 35-year old Ryan’s 13th touchdown pass of the season against four interceptions, while it is the 23-year old Olamide Zacchaeus’ first touchdown in eight games this season. Ryan and the Falcons will look to maintain their strong start against the Broncos as they aim to bag just their third win of the season.

Falcons are looking to win a game before taking a bye in Week 10. They will resurface in Week 10 to face the New Orleans Saints on the road.
