Simply put, the Atlanta Hawks just can’t have good things this season. The Hawks have long ago been denied of inclusion in this year’s playoffs with their season-long display of pathetic basketball, but even the little things that could make the team and its fans happy are seemingly being denied by hoops gods. Take for example the one instance late in Wednesday’s game between the Miami Heat and the Hawks at Philips Arena, when seldom-used Miami power forward Udonis Haslem sank a free throw to deprive Atlanta fans of free chicken sandwiches from Chick-fil-A.

As noted by ClutchPoints’ Tomer Azarly, Udonis Haslem missed the prior free throw, opening a chance for Atlanta fanatics to come away with free dinners. Unfortunately for them, Haslem was not in a charitable mood.

That was also just the only point scored by Haslem in this game, but he scored a ton of savage points by shushing the crowd as though he just nailed his 50th point of the contest.

Apart from losing their chances of getting freebies, Hawks fans also saw their team lose again. Miami dealt Atlanta with a 115-86 loss in that game, a day after the Heat handed the Hawks a 101-98 setback in South Beach.
