Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook made headlines on Tuesday after it was revealed he's a victim of domestic abuse and extortion.

As reported earlier, his agent Zac Hiller explained that a female–said to be a sergeant in the US military–allegedly entered his home unlawfully and attacked him. The Vikings RB was then forced to defend himself. Now, Hiller shared that the said attacker is using the opportunity to extort money from Cook, saying that she suffered from injuries during the attack she allegedly started.

There's a pending litigation with regards to the issue, and it is set to be initiated soon.

After learning of the incident involving Cook, the Vikings released an official statement to address the issue. The team confirmed they have notified the NFL about the lawsuit and are now gathering more details about it.
